Very fortunate to encounter this magical Gentoo Penguin during our trio to Patagonia , Argentina - The Gentoos Penguins are mostly found on the Antarctic Peninsula -Happy to know that they are protected by the Antarctic Treaty of 1959 and have received near threatened status in 2007.
