Bald Eagle, Homer, Alaska, United States
Freedom of Flight

Species: Bald Eagle | Location: Homer, Alaska, United States

During a trip to Homer, Alaska, a bald eagle and its mate took turns fishing and returning with fresh caught salmon to feed the four eaglets in their nest. The picture was taken in the late afternoon as the eagle made one last trip to the river to fish.
