Species: Mule Deer | Location: Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Uinta Mountains, USA
I remember this, without a doubt. When my family went to a cabin in the Uinta Mountains, it was quite exciting. Late in the morning, almost noon, on the day we were leaving, this little deer had timidly walked up to a salt lick behind someone else's cabin, and thankfully she stayed long enough for some good photos. I tried stalking her like a puma to get more pics, but she wandered a fair bit away, too fat for me to follow, but the fact she stuck around when she did was worth the excitement.
