This is a Nene goose (or Hawaiian goose) endemic to the islands of Hawaii and is recognized its state bird. This beautiful goose was tagged near the roads climbing their way up the side of Maui's Haleakala volcano.

About The Photographer

I studied photography when I was living in NYC and have just recently moved back to Southern California. Photography and wildlife documentary filmmaking are two of my largest passions and my goal is to show and reach out to as many people as possible to inspire change and knowledge of the wonderful and amazing creatures we have on this planet!
