Herd of Musk Ox
Species: Musk Ox | Location: East Coast - Scoresby Sund, Greenland
We encountered a large herd of musk ox on a zodiac cruise from our ship in Scoresby Sund. They seemed dressed for winter. We were offered a taste of musk ox meat in the village of Ittooqqortoormiit. I was surprised at how tasty it was, and the lack of "wild" flavor.
