Species: Coastal Brown Bear | Location: Brooks Falls, Katmai National Park, AK, United States
While were were in Alaska at Brooks Falls, we were watching this yearling cub in the river with his mom when he suddenly bolted from the water and up a tree right next to the viewing platform where we were standing. He seemed as curious about us as we were about him.

I love the outdoors. The farther out, the better. Nature and wildlife photography is a natural extension of that. God created a beautiful world for us to enjoy and we haven''t completely screwed it up yet! The camera gives me a great excuse to get outside and gives me a whole new way of seeing things that I've looked at a thousand times.
