2016 Wildlife Photo Contest

Hippopotamus, Serengeti, Tanazania
Hippo Landing

Species: Hippopotamus | Location: Serengeti, Tanazania

I was on on a Safari with NatHab...we turned a bend In the road and found this massive herd of hippos wallowing in the river. They were grunting and vocalizing, and seemed to be having a happy time just hanging out in the cool mud.

About The Photographer

I'm a happy amateur...snapping away at what looks interesting. And there's so much interesting stuff out there.
