2017 Wildlife Photo Contest

Red Fox, Vulpes vulpes, Algonquin Provincial Park, Canada
The Curious Fox

Species: Red Fox, Vulpes vulpes | Location: Algonquin Provincial Park, Canada

While out looking for wildlife in the backwoods of Algonquin Provincial Park we had come across 2 Fox. Both of them kept a distance while posing over and over around a fallen tree. After about an hour I was able to lay on the ground close to the tree while both of them took turns jumping up and checking me out. It seemed they were both more curious of me then I was of them.

About The Photographer

I am new to the Photography world and just finished a 3 year double diploma college course in order to better my skills. I had fallen in love with photography as a young child and have always had a thing for the outdoors so why not put the two together. My dream is to one day photograph Grizzly, Polar and Kermode Bears with the hopes of one day being published by a large reputable magazine. For the time being I just hope that my little hobby puts a smile on peoples faces and helps me make a few dollars to eventually reach my dream.
