Humpback Whale off the northern shore of Iceland in 2014
Species: Humpback Whale | Location: Out of Dalvik, Iceland, Iceland
This friendly humpback whale swam around our whale watching boat for almost an hour. Then he seemed to want to get a better look at us and he breached twice! I missed the first breach, but I was prepared for the second one! The captain said he only sees a whale breach in about one out of an hundred trips! We were very blessed!
