Close Enough

Species: Hippopotamus | Location: Busanga Bush Camp, Zambia

We watched several pods of hippos close up from a skiff on flooded areas in Zambia. There were numerous "yawns" indicating we were close enough to them. This one was probably about thirty feet away! This photo was taken on Nat Hab's Hidden Jewels of Zimbabwe & Zambia safari.
