Common Kingfisher

Species: Common Kingfisher | Location: Pondicherry, India

On a pilgrimage visit to my native home, I took time off for a short birding walk and found this kingfisher. Within few minutes it got adapted to my presence and allowed to come closer on foot. With light from the side and the grey background, it is a satisfying result.
