Gaze

Species: African Buffalo | Location: Maasai Mara National Park, Kenya

It was a hot day. In the late morning we were on the way back to camp driving along the River Mara in Maasai Mara National Park. Suddenly we saw this massive solitary bull was feeding near the river bed and quickly got exited, running towards the vehicle. He caught us by surprise, but changed his course to run away near a thorny bush. He just gazed at us then vanished under the river bank. I just manage to record that little moment when he turned to look at us.

About The Photographer

Cropped ravi tennakoon
My Passion for photography started from my young age even though i could not afford to own a camera. i used to barrow camera's from friends n went on clicking shots of nature. Being a wildlife lover photography really gave me an opportunity to record beautiful moments I witness in the wild and allow the same to be available for others to see. I believe photography can be used as the media to take a message to everyone with regards to how important it is to preserve nature.
