A Fig-Eating Pigeon

Species: Yellow-footed green pigeon | Location: Churu district, Rajasthan, India, India

An early morning visit to Gopalpura village near Tal Chhapar yielded a flock of yellow-footed green pigeons feasting on figs off a huge tree near the pond. Golden light and cooperation of this one individual made this click a memorable one.
