A Secretive Mountain Wood Owl

Species: Mountain wood-owl, a Himalayan subspecies of brown wood-owl | Location: Kumaon, Uttarakhand, India

After spending an hour or so with this individual during in the evening in a small community-conserved forest patch in Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, it cooperated with me and gave me a wishful look.
