I spent three months with these owls from the time they were born till they left the nest. This shot was one of my best—all of the owls were looking the same way.

I'm a disable vietnam veteran, and have seen too much distruction during the war which is why I love to preserve the beauty that God gave us in nature. I suffered for many years with PTSD from the war, and use my photography to help me cope. I live in Lancaster, PA with my wife Ethel.
