Roaming the Ice

Species: Polar Bear | Location: Churchill, Canada

Polar bear cubs follow their mother across the ice in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada.  Churchill is known as the Polar Bear Capital of the World because up to 1,000 polar bears gather there each fall on the shores of the Hudson Bay while they wait for the bay to freeze over so they can begin their feeding season.
