Black-winged stilt is a widely distributed very long-legged wader in the avocet and stilt family. The breeding habitat of all these stilts is marshes, shallow lakes and ponds. This shot was taken on December, 2016 in the Chilka Lagoon of Odisha, India.

I am an assistant professor in geography discipline which deals with human and its surrounding environment. Wildlife and colours of nature attracts me continuously all day.
