Species: Tricolored Heron | Location: Seminole County, Florida, USA

Tricolored heron was found standing still and waiting patiently for fish to come within striking distance. In a running pursuit with its head low to the water, its bill stabbed at the fish netting its find in an almost horizontal action. And then it proudly displayed its delightful catch.
