About The Photographer

Cropped 100 5962

Thomas Michael Conner is an award winning self-taught fine art photographer from Howell, Michigan. He began taking photographs in 1952 when his family purchased a Argus C-3 35mm camera for the Christmas holidays. And although he had taken photographs for his entire life so far, it wasn't until 2006, at the urging of friends and strangers who saw and remarked on his work that he began to display his work in galleries, art shows and exhibits. Today he uses point and shoot digital cameras to create artistic photographs of his local surrounding in Livingston County Michigan and occasional trips to Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas and Arizona.

Conner is also an independent filmmaker. Some of his films include "Once Upon a Nuclear Ship" http://nssavannahdocumentary.com and "Rockabilly - The Johnny Powers Story" http://youtu.be/cwyVllKbCEM
