Species: Lioness | Location: Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Botswana

A mom an daughter lioness rehydrating in the desert near sunset at a local water hole. The day before we encountered them protecting their oryx kill a few miles away.  This photo was taken while on safari in Botswana with Nat Hab.

About The Photographer

I'm an amateur photographer from Kalamazoo, MI just learning the ropes of this hobby. Several Nat Hab trips to Botswana and the Galapagos have given me the photo bug.
