How Many Toes?

Species: Black-faced vervet monkey | Location: Arusha, Tanzania

Vervet monkeys were playing around in the trees all around the lodge on my very first day in Arusha. They were obviously used to having people around - however this baby, while old enough to explore at quite a distance from its mother, was almost never sitting still long enough to get a clear shot. With a lot of patience, I finally captured it at a moment's rest.

About The Photographer

As a keen amateur photographer Ursula particularly loves the challenges provided by wildlife photography.

She just came back and finished sorting through hundreds of pictures from a Serengeti photo-safari (her 13th Nat Hab trip).
