Don't Mess with Momma

Species: Lion | Location: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

It was nearing dusk when we found this lioness with her small cubs. The lioness had just come back from a hunt and it was clear that the cubs were hungry. The lioness led the cubs away from the other lions in the pride in order to nurse in peace and quiet. When another male lion from the same pride got too close, the lioness made this face.
