Slow Going

Species: Three-Toed Sloth | Location: Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, Peru

The Amazon is home to an array of various wildlife species.  The slow-moving sloth makes its home in tropical rain forests, and we were lucky enough to encounter this one on our trip to the Amazon with Nat Hab. Learn about what WWF is doing to help protect the sloth.

Eric's illustrious career began in Alaska in 1989, where he worked as a field researcher on many of the state’s diverse animal species, including river otters, waterfowl, moose and reindeer.
