Surrounded

Species: Coyotes | Location: Yellowstone Park, United States of America

It's spring time in Yellowstone Park and the predators are attracted to the winter-killed animals, in this case it was a buffalo that had broke through the ice in a pond and drowned. The only animal that could get it out was a big grizzly which pulled this buffalo out of the muck. This was very much appreciated by the much smaller coyotes and other scavengers. These three coyotes, I imagine, were establishing their feeding order.
